Sacramento's Measure O, also known as “The Emergency Shelter and Enforcement Act of 2022,” is set to go into effect on June 21. The measure requires the city to take specific actions to address homelessness in the city. "There are too many people that are living in squalor that are living in unsafe and healthy conditions that obviously affects their health and well-being but also the health and well-being of our neighborhoods," said Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg.
