New report provides good news for Chesapeake Bay crab population

New survey results provided good news on the Chesapeake Bay blue crab population. The overall crab population increased by more than 40% from last year. But conservationists said that doesn't mean we're out of the woods. "It's obviously an incredibly important part of the culture of Maryland. It's also an incredibly important part of the economy. It's the most valuable fishery in the Chesapeake Bay region," said Allison Colden, executive director of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
