Recovered Patient Who 'Spent 10 Days on Ventilator' Sent Off in Style by Texas Hospital Staff

A 44-year-old woman who spent 10 days on a ventilator due to COVID-19 was “sent off in style”, authorities at St David’s South Austin Medical Center in Texas said.

The woman had spent 16 days in hospital in total reports said.

The first part of this video shows hospital staff lined up in reception clapping for the woman as she makes her way out in a wheelchair pushed by a member of staff. In the second part, a staff member can be heard saying:" Thank you so much for trusting us with your care. Wish you a speedy recovery, let us know if there’s anything we can do anything for you."
