Recognizing Dr. Tina Cheng this AAPI Heritage Month

Today, we recognize Dr. Tina Cheng, the chief medical officer at Cincinnati Children's and director of the Cincinnati Children's Research Foundation. She's also the pediatrics chair at the University of Cincinnati. Cheng was born in Ohio and grew up in Iowa before moving back. She remembers being inspired to be a doctor by those who treated her as a child. Now, her research focuses on child health equity. She said her parents instilled Chinese principles and traditions while growing up. She says her heritage has played an important role in the direction of her esteemed career.
