Police: Man faces dozens of charges after woman kidnapped

A man faces more than a dozen charges after allegedly kidnapping a woman in Washington, D.C., and driving her for miles until eventually being caught in Prince George's County. Maryland State Police said troopers tried to stop the driver on Maryland Route 450 but he got away and crashed the U-Haul. When police got to the U-Haul truck, they arrested the driver and found a woman sitting on the floorboard of the wrecked truck naked and bleeding. Police said Dennis Bell, 62, forced the woman into the truck at a convenience store in southeast D.C. on Friday morning. Bell is accused of removing the woman's clothes, cutting her fingers with a pocket knife and driving her around for hours.
