Police: 2 juveniles arrested after two teenagers shot in Essex

Baltimore County police arrested two juveniles after two teenagers were shot near Sandalwood Elementary School in Essex. Police have determined the shooting was an isolated incident and stemmed from a verbal confrontation escalated in front of the school. A little after 8 p.m. Friday, Jack Spore had just finished a DoorDash delivery and was on to the next when a chaotic scene unfolded in front of him. He saw several people running away near the corner of South Marlyn Avenue and Sandalwood Road in Essex and one young person on the ground. He later found out two youth had been shot right in front of Sandalwood Elementary school. Police have not released any identifying information of the victims, but paramedics took both to the hospital where they remain in critical condition.
