Over/Under Week 5 - Justin Jefferson

FFL Flash Alert - Justin Jefferson started 2020 hot, but has cooled off since. Will he show up in Seattle on SNF?

Video Transcript

MATT HARMON: All right, time for our next over/under. And it's another exciting rookie taking the league by storm, Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson. We're gonna set the line here at 99 and 1/2. And I'll start by going over confidently.

It is hard to contain the excitement about a guy like Justin Jefferson, who has instantly made the Vikings offense better. And now he gets a great spot against the Seattle team that's allowed 500 more yards than any other team-- two wide receivers in a high-scoring game. I mean, I'm all the way over on this one. I could not be more excited about what I'm seeing out of Justin Jefferson. Tank, tell me why I am 100% correct, and you're riding with me on this one.

TANK WILLIAMS: No. I'm going under now.

MATT HARMON: [LAUGHS]

TANK WILLIAMS: And I understand that Justin Jefferson's been moving on up like the Jeffersons, but-- I mean, look. So he's going for 175 and 101 in the past couple games. The Seahawks give up the most fantasy points to wide receivers.

Like, I get all that. But at the same time, I know who their head coach is. It's Mike Zimmer, who's gonna be stubborn. He's gonna run the ball with Dalvin Cook until the wheels fall off, because he's gonna try to shut down Russ's kitchen.

And the most important factor in all of this is something that y'all already alluded to before-- Kirk Cousins. Now, I expect Kirk to have a decent game, but Kirk's gonna be Kirk and find some way to mess this up for Jefferson. Under.

MATT HARMON: Minty, please, help me out here. Let's bring some excitement back into this after Tank almost made me sick.

MINTY BETS: [LAUGHS]

TANK WILLIAMS: [LAUGHS]

MINTY BETS: All right, I am on the over with you, Harmon. I-- I mean, they're going up against Seattle, who is the worst against the pass, allowing an average of 401 passing yards per game. Kirk Cousins is going to take advantage of that. He's gonna air that ball out everywhere and anywhere to anyone and everyone, including Justin Jefferson. You're right, Harmon.
