Organizers focus on safety for upcoming OEC Pride

This weekend Main Street in Ellicott City will be full of life as OEC Pride kicks off. There will be drag shows, music, art festivals, on-the-spot weddings and more. Organizers said they've taken extra steps to make sure it’s a safe weekend for everyone to enjoy, and 11-News has more one of Saturday's main events. "The Mascara Run" is sure to bring some fun to Main Street in Old Ellicott City. It's a drag race where people will run from business to business, doing eating and drinking challenges along the way, but organizers said it's really about creating a safe space to bring people together.
