ARIEL EPSTEIN: Happy Friday. I'm Ariel Epstein with Yahoo Sports. I'm gonna break down two plays and a fade for today's NBA slate on Friday, December 17th.

My first play, I'm paying up $38 to take the Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert. He's up against a bottom-10 defense not just in points allowed, also in rebounds allowed. When up against a bottom-10 defense against rebounding, Gobert is averaging just under 16 points and 17 and 1/2 rebounds per game. The Spurs also allow the ninth most points in the paint. That number has actually gone up from 47 points to 54 points in the last three games. I'm taking Rudy Gobert in my lineup tonight.

My value play tonight, for $25, I'm playing Memphis Grizzlies small forward Dillon Brooks. He's played three games against bottom-10 defenses without his leading scorer Ja Morant. In those three games, he had 21 points against Sacramento, 25 points against Houston, and 22 points against Portland. Sacramento allows the second most points per game. That number has actually gone up by 6 points in the last 10. Give me Dillon Brooks tonight in my lineup.

My fade tonight, for $30, I am not paying up for the Atlanta Hawks center Clint Capela. When Capela is up against a top-10 defense, as he is tonight against Denver, he's only averaging just over 10 points per game and 11 and 1/2 rebounds. With Denver allowing the 10th least points per game to their opponents, there is no way I'm paying $30 for Capela tonight.

Here's your NBA DFS recap. I'm putting Rudy Gobert in my lineup. My value play for $25, Dillon Brooks. My fade of the night, for $30, I am not paying up for Clint Capela. That's it here for NBA DFS on this Friday. I'm Ariel Epstein. Good luck tonight.
