Migrants at US-Mexico border have been facing harsh weather conditions while awaiting entry

Our KCRA 3 team has been covering the situation at the United States-Mexico border since Wednesday, a day before the lifting of Title 42. They have seen first-hand the dire conditions migrants have been exposed to as they wait for an opportunity to seek asylum. Shelters and nonprofit organizations at both sides of the border have been preparing for weeks as migrants gather daily between two barriers dividing San Diego and Tijuana.
