Michael Malone on Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic's historic night: 'By far their greatest performance as a duo'

Denver head coach Michael Malone reflects on the pair making NBA history in the Nuggets' dominant Game 3 win over the Miami Heat.

MICHAEL MALONE: I've been with Nicola for eight and Jamaal for seven years now. And we've had some pretty good moments, but not in the NBA Finals. And for those guys to make history the way they did tonight, no one's ever done that. That's what's really neat about it, you get the win.

I thought our defense was fantastic tonight. You hold that team to 94 points, 37 from the field, only 11 3's. That really helped us out tonight, the defending and rebounding at a high level, but by far, their greatest performance as a duo in their seven years together.

- When you have a line that's never been accomplished before in finals history, what do you think of that?

NIKOLA JOKIC: To be honest, I just think it's a win, because if we lose, nobody's going to even mention. To be honest, I don't care. It's just a stat.
