Man Surprises Fiancee With Welcome Fit for a Queen at Sydney Airport

A welcome fit for a queen caught the eye of photographer Jason Edwards at Sydney Airport recently, where he recorded as a man dressed as a Spartan soldier greeted his fiancee.

The heartwarming moment shows teacher John Dixon really standing out from the crowd, carrying his spear and shield as well as a sign saying “Queen”.

Emily Chandler can only laugh as she approaches, before embracing her husband-to-be Dixon as bystanders applaud.

Local media said the pair plan to marry in November. Presumably there’ll be nothing spartan about their big day. Credit: Jason Edwards via Storyful
