Man crashes car inside of home in Sacramento County after chase, sheriff's officials say

A family is still in shock after a car flew through a window into a south Sacramento County home. The whole family was home, including a mother and her 5 children. Luckily, no one was hurt. It started with traffic stop about a block away, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office. “Our deputy spotted a car that was speeding, driving a little erratic, and attempted to pull it over,” said Sgt. Amar Gandhi. However, he said, the driver tried to speed off. The suspect had one passenger in the car with him as he drove up a grassy hill at the end of Spengler Drive near Cliffcrest Drive, launching the car through a fence and then through the window of a home at about 5:30 a.m. on Sunday.
