Mad Bets: Will the Vikings cover -2.5 vs. Bears?

MINTY: For Monday Night Football, we've got an NFC North match-up between the Vikings and the Bears. The Vikings are road favorites at two and a half points. And the total is set at 44 and 1/2. We've also got a special Monday night promo for you guys. Bet $1 to win $1 for every Vikings rushing yard. Now, let's get into our picks with Matt Gothard, his favorite division. What do you have, Matt?

MATT: I don't know if it's my favorite division. But I grew up in the Midwest. So I tend to have a little bit of love for all these teams.

But I'm going the Bears here. I like Kirk Cousins. But I know how he does against good defenses.

This is one of the best defenses that they've played. Honestly, it's really similar to the Colts game where they totally melted down. You put a lot of pressure on a quarterback that really can't get it done, especially in primetime, the Bears here, I know their offense has struggled. But I think they're going to be able to put up some points against the Vikings. I would take the two and a half here. But I also like the money line.

MINTY: Oh, sprinkle a little on the money line. All right, Jared, what's your pick?

JARED: All right, Gothard is a Vikings fan. I don't know if you guys know this. He loves the Vikings if you watched last year.

And when he's betting against the Vikings, I'm really betting against the Vikings. We know the rule. Do not bet on Kirk Cousins in primetime games. That, on top of the fact that Dalvin Cook has been amazing. But when he plays good defenses, he's not as effective.

And the Bears know what they got to do. They've got to stop the run. And that's what they're going to do. And you're going to have to make Kirk Cousins and Nick Foles go off. I'm taking Foles in that battle. So give me the Bears money line.

MINTY: Oh, wow, Bears money line, OK. I also like the Bears plus two and a half. I don't know if they'll win straight up. But you know what? They've lost three straight already. I think this is a great bounceback spot, especially at home in primetime. Chicago, 6-1 against the spread as home underdogs. So I'll take the Bears plus the points.

MATT: Dalvin Cook probably will rush for 200 yards, though. So you should definitely sign up.
