Video Transcript

MINTY BETS: Welcome to week six of college football, everyone. We've got an exciting match-up that we want to highlight for this Saturday night. It's going to be number 7 Miami versus the number 1 Clemson Tigers. The Tigers are favored by 14 and 1/2 points at the moment and the total's set at 61. Let's start with the former 'Canes player. Jared Quay, what is your pick for this game?

JARED QUAY: I don't know why you ask me what my pick is, because we already know it's all about the U. And I'm not just taking them at plus 14 and 1/2. I'm taking them moneyline. All right, let's be honest, all right. Miami-- we've always had a good team. We've got athletes that go to the pros. The thing is, we've never had a great quarterback. And I mean, even Ken Dorsey was kind of eh. Brad Kaaya was good, he got drafted.

But I'm liking this D'Eriq King. This kid can throw the football. He can run when we wants to, but he doesn't need to because he can throw the ball. You add that with athletic receivers, and you had the fact that Miami's playing on prime time. And we beat Florida State by 30 this year. And we ain't never beat Florida State by 30 and lost to Clemson in the same year. So therefore, I know we're going to win. We're number 7, we're playing against the number 1, we're going to beat them, and we're going to make this college football playoffs really, really complicated when it comes to January.

MINTY BETS: Wow. I'm convinced to take the moneyline. But I am with you, Jared, I actually like Miami for the points here. We know that both these offenses are explosive, but I think Miami's defense here can actually slow Clemson down a little and cover the spread 14 and 1/2. Hopefully it goes up to 15, 16 by kickoff. And Matt, what is your pick?

MATT GOTHARD: Guys, guys. I know we like Miami, because Jared likes Miami, but let's be honest. Clemson is going to rock them. Look at who Miami's playing. Louisville, who gave up two consecutive 70-yard touchdowns. Two consecutive 70-yard touchdowns. I mean, that's ridiculously bad defense. You look at Florida State, they lost to Georgia Tech, who got blown out by Syracuse. No, thank you.

I'm not looking at the past resume of Miami here to go moneyline. And I'm Moneyline Matt. We all know that. But I do have some trust issues with Clemson. They don't usually cover big spreads later in the game, so if this first half spread is under 10, I am all over it. Jared, you said seven's a lucky number. I'm thinking it might be 7 and 1/2 and that's gonna make me some easy money. Clemson easy on this one.

JARED QUAY: Gothard, don't do this yourself. You could have been with me and Minty. We could have had a good time, all celebrating. But here we are, me-- me and Minty are gonna be happy. We're gonna make a music video, throwing money in the air. And you're gonna be like, why didn't I listen to you, Jared. Whoa. Hey, cut the video.
