‘That kid is strong’: 4-year-old travel warrior on his Make-A-Wish trip for Memorial Day weekend

While out covering the start of the Memorial Day air travel at Sacramento International Airport, there was one traveler that caught my eye. He was running and jumping, and soon showing off his toys to me. I asked his mother about the soon-to-be 4-year-old boy. "That kid is strong. He's been through so much. He's such a great kid," said Emily Wilson-Fernandez, his mother. "We're celebrating how much of a warrior he's been throughout this."
