Horse Shows Off Ball Skills in Front of Elk Playmate

A young colt and elk were filmed playing with a ball on a snowy Montana property.

Video recorded by Tamara Miller shows her eight-month-old horse running along a fence with an elk playfully engaged.

Miller told Storyful that elk often visit her property and try to eat her horses’ feed.

“When I saw that elk that morning I stepped out on my small porch and started videoing to see where it would go,” she said.

“These elk show up at random times trying to get into my horse hay! This elk always seems to be the one the others push away and always manages to make it to my colt.

“When [the colt] sees the elk, he is just wanting them to play ball with him. He is not aggressive just playful.” Credit: Tamara Milton via Storyful
