Homes Destroyed in Israeli Strikes on Gaza, Palestinian Media Reports

Homes in Gaza were destroyed in Israeli airstrikes on the enclave, Palestinian media reported on Thursday, May 11.

This footage was published by Quds News Network, and is described as showing the aftermath of strikes on homes in Khan Younis and Beit Lahiya. The Israel Defense Forces said Khan Younis was where they killed Ali Ghali, the commander of Islamic Jihad’s rocket force.

Speaking to Quds News Network, a member of the al-Masry family, whose home was destroyed, said they received a warning to vacate their property ahead of a strike on Wednesday evening.

At least 25 people have been killed, and 76 injured, in airstrikes on Gaza since Tuesday, Palestinian health officials reported. During that time, the Israel Defense Forces have been targeting Islamic Jihad in Gaza. They said over 500 rockets had been fired towards Israel by Thursday morning.
