Harry and Meghan reportedly decided it wasn't necessary for the duchess to participate in the royal family meeting

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry might be a team, but that doesn't mean the Duchess of Sussex is involved in everything. On Monday, Harry met with the senior members of his family, including Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles and Prince William, to discuss the couple's future within the British monarchy. There was some speculation that Meghan, who was in Vancouver, British Columbia, with baby Archie, might call in to the meeting, but a royal source said that ultimately the Sussexes decided that it wasn't necessary for the duchess to join.
