'Is This Going to Work?' Taylor Swift Jokes With Crowd as Deluge Hits Gillette Stadium

Taylor Swift embraced heavy rainfall during her second Eras Tour show at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on Saturday, May 20.

Video recorded by Vanessa Chatterley shows Swift jokingly question if her acoustic guitar is going to work in the rain.

“No one ever expects that you’re basically going to perform in a shower,” Swift added.

Swift took to Twitter to thank her fans for the memorable evening after the event.

“Last night we all danced together in the rain for THE ENTIRE 3.5 HOUR SHOW in foxy Foxborough MA!! We’ve had rain shows at Gillette Stadium before but this was a full on deluge that never let up, I just want to thank that iconic crowd!! Love you so much you have no idea,” she said.
