Giants Star Body Slams Field Invader to the Ground

Going into the final weekend of the Major League Baseball regular season San Francisco Giants’s have yet to secure a playoff spot, so the atmosphere was understandably tense at times during the first of a three-game series with Los Angeles Dodgers. So a incident involving a field invader and two Giants players provided some welcome relief.

With the teams tied at the top of the fourth inning, a fan invaded the field and evaded attempts by security to eject him. First catcher Buster Posey pushed him to the dirt then, undeterred, he looked to present Ángel Pagán with a baseball.
