Generation Erdogan: The young Turks voting for the first time

Izot, 20, hopes for a country where being openly gay won't bring threats or violence; 21-year-old Emrah, whose brother is in prison following the 2016 attempted coup, refuses to say he will vote for; and Zeynep, aged 19, is hoping for another 20 years of Recep Tayyip Erdogan's government. They are just some of the 5.2 million young Turks who, having grown up under Erdogan's leadership, are able to vote for the first time in the country's upcoming elections.
