Full Briefing: Sacramento officials speak after crash leaves adult dead, 9 children seriously injured

A major crash in Sacramento left an adult dead and 10 others, nine of them children, seriously injured, officials said. The crash was reported around 8:15 p.m. in the 900 block of San Juan Road west of Northgate Boulevard. Zach Eaton, a spokesperson for the Sacramento Police Department, said in total: An adult was killed; another adult was transported to a hospital and nine children between the ages of 3-8 were also injured.
