Fire Crews Battle Overnight to Contain California's Slink Fire

Fire crews demonstrated the extent of the Slink Fire at night on September 2, as it burned on the California-Nevada border near Coleville.

Late on September 2, the fire was estimated to be at roughly 14,200 acres and was 10 percent contained, according to Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest Service.
