MATT HARMON: Tom Pelissero reports that free agent wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is slated to fly to Nashville on Sunday for a visit with the Titans, according to sources. He reminded us that D-Hop and Mike Vrabel were together in Houston. Now, Vrabel's team gets the first visit with Hopkins.

And he also noted that the Titans aren't the only team in talks with Hopkins. But this is the first official visit and shows there is mutual interest with Tennessee. Andy, I'm curious what you think about this, because I was a little perplexed at why people were confused by this one, because have you seen the Titans receiver depth chart? That's my first retort.

Everybody immediately responds with, well, the Titans should be rebuilding. Why is Hopkins going to a team that is kind of retooling, whatever? Titans are not rebuilding. Mike Vrabel is not rebuilding. People have been trying to wish cast rebuilding on the Titans for the last two years and they ain't going to do it.

They're not really a true rebuilding team. So I found it confusing why people found this confusing, Andy.

ANDY BEHRENS: Yeah, they're right there in terms of the division, right? Like, that was-- they're right there. And if people expect the Titans to just concede the next, I don't know, five years to the Jaguars, it's just not going to happen.

But this would just be crushing in redraft for Treylon Burks' fantasy value. Whenever a player's, like, total fantasy value-- whenever we're talking more about opportunity and volume than we're talking about the just screaming talents of the player, it's a dangerous situation. Because talent doesn't go away, but volume can sure go away.

It's not a particularly surprising team to be linked to DeAndre. I have him right now in the wide receiver ranks around, like, 16 and 17. And that was anticipating a better landing spot than Tennessee. So this would be one of the few spots where I would probably knock him down a peg or two.

MATT HARMON: I think he can still play. I don't think if you're sitting down ranking, like, top 10 receivers in the NFL, you're including DeAndre Hopkins in that anymore. Number one, the position is just too good. Like, I don't care how optimistic you are about Treylon Burks, like, he's not going to be that guy this year.

And if you're making one of these hype threads or whatever about a player and the first point you make is look at who else is on the depth chart, you're already in-- you're in a tough spot, especially about an unproven player. I agree it would be kind of a disaster.

It would be disappointing for Hopkins. It would be disappointing for Burks. It'd be good for the Titans offense, though. And let's just hope, like, third time's the charm with veteran wide receiver towards the end of the rope with them.

Because they went after Julio Jones. They went after Robert Woods. Hey, we're going for DeAndre Hopkins here-- third time's the charm, baby. Let's hope this works out.
