Early Pickups for Week 5

Andy Behrens shares some value fantasy options before Week 5 begins.

ANDY BEHRENS: If you need a [? screening ?] option at quarterback in week five, look to Carolina to the 2 and 2 Panthers, where Teddy Bridgewater had himself a day in week four. A couple of passing touchdowns, 276 yards, also ran for a score. That's not going to be a huge part of his game, but it's nice to know he can do it.

Now in week five, he gets Atlanta. They entered week four allowing the most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. They faced a bunch of good ones, sure, but still, they've been as generous as any defense for fantasy purposes. You want to pick on this match-up.

Atlanta's also going to be coming off a short week. We like that. Teddy Bridgewater, widely available in Yahoo leagues, about 80% available. Going to be a quarterback who can finish, plausibly as a QB 1 next week in week five.

Also take a look at Tim Patrick at wide receiver, Denver Broncos. He went over 100 yards in the Thursday night game. They [? looked ?] to him downfield. He's got an average depth of target so far this year of 13.3 yards.

He's got size. He's 6' 4". They had every intention of using him coming into this season. Now no Courtland Sutton, Tim Patrick is going to get plenty of targets. He as well, a strong pick up for week five.
