Early Pickups for Week 4

Andy offers up a couple of early pickups for Week 4.

ANDY BEHRENS: Some weeks. It's difficult to figure out how to prioritize the fantasy pickups but not entering week four it's going to be Chuba Hubbard. He stepped in for Christian McCaffrey, who suffered a hamstring injury that is going to sideline him for multiple weeks. Hubbard was goodish if not exactly McCaffrey like in his absence. Finished with 79 total yards. Look, he's going to get something close to a full workload.

Royce Freeman barely a rumor, had only a supporting role in that game. It's clearly going to be Hubbard. He's a guy who at Oklahoma State a couple of years ago rushed for over 2000 yards. Fantastic collegiate player. Had some injury issues the next year.

But still he's the guy stepping in for McCaffrey. Again, not going to produce at McCaffrey's level. Don't even expect it. Don't think about it.

He's a rookie. All sorts of caveats here. But he's going to get plenty of workload and there's a fun match-up coming up next against Dallas.

We also have to talk about Emmanuel Sanders with a huge game against the Washington Football Team in week three. A couple of touchdowns, 94 yards, caught 5 to 6 targets. He looked great.

He's actually looked great all year. He'd entered the week with 14 targets already on the season among the air yards leaders in the NFL. Sanders is going to be a hot pickup available in about 3/4 of Yahoo leagues.
