Early Pickups for Week 14

Andy offers up two valuable wide receivers that you should grab early for Week 14.

ANDY BEHRENS: We're going to talk about a pair of receivers in our early pick-ups for week 14. Listen, these are just the early pickups. Maybe they'll get better as the week goes on. But for now, I want to start with Marquez Valdes-Scantling. All he's done over his last two games, 19 targets from Aaron Rodgers. These are not your typical targets. These are Aaron Rodgers targets. He's caught 8 of them, 173 receiving yards.

He actually leads all receivers right now in air yards per target, and by a pretty significant margin. So he's getting deep shots, high-yield opportunities, again, in an Aaron Rodgers-led offense. You want that.

He's got the Bears coming up. And then he's got Baltimore after that. Both of these defenses have given up big plays so far this season, great spots for MVS.

Another guy that we're going to need to pay attention to this week, KJ Osborn. He's been the number three receiver for the Vikings for most of the year. Well, Adam Thielen checked out with an ankle injury in week 13. Hate to see that. Osborn really stepped up, saw 7 targets, caught a touchdown pass. He's going to be busy. It seems unlikely that Thielen is going to be able to play in week 14 because the Vikings have a quick turnaround to the Thursday-nighter against Pittsburgh. Friendly enough match-up for Osborn. I expect him to see another huge workload in that one.
