Parts of southwest Florida suffered heavy damage after Hurricane Ian made landfall as a Category 4 storm on September 28.
The Lee County Sheriff’s PIO Julie Martin posted this video to Twitter showing the damage to Times Square in Fort Myers Beach. Businesses are seen with blown-out windows, and the roads are coated in sand.
