Davis serial stabbing suspect ordered to have psychiatric assessment

A Yolo County judge has ordered a psychiatric assessment for Carlos Reales Dominguez after an attorney for the accused Davis serial killer said his client is not mentally fit for trial. “It is my firm opinion that my client is not mentally competent,” attorney Dan Hutchinson said Monday while seated next to Dominguez, whose hands were shackled. The judge set a mental competency hearing for June 20.
