‘Corona Slayer’ KK Shailaja Dropped From The New Kerala Cabinet

In a statement, the new Pinarayi Vijayan-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) government in Kerala said that it will not retain any ministers from the previous government. This includes former health minister KK Shailaja, who earned praises from around the world for her handling of the COVID-19 crisis in the state. She will not be a part of the new cabinet that will be sworn in on May 20.
