Colorado Avalanche Fan Wins $269K Off Parlay Bet After Stanley Cup Win

A Colorado Avalanche fan celebrated becoming over a quarter million dollars richer after his team secured the 2022 Stanley Cup on Sunday, July 26.

Video recorded by Jeremy Malone shows the moment his eight month old three-team parlay bet came to fruition, following the Colorado Avalanche’s 2-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Malone placed a $500 free bet in December 2021, correctly predicting the champions of the NBA, NFL and NHL.

Friends and fellow Avalanche supporters can be heard counting down the moment the last leg of the bet came through as Malone’s “favorite” team secured their first Stanley Cup since 2001.

Malone told Storyful he was a “wreck” for the first period of the game while his team trailed Tampa Bay, one goal to zero.
