City Ranch develops character by introducing Baltimore City students to horses

A Maryland nonprofit group is exposing Baltimore City youth to the excitement of horseracing at a young age. The Preakness gives people of all ages and all backgrounds a look into the horseracing industry. It's one thing for children to watch horses race on television during the Preakness, and it's another for children to see one, touch one and even ride one themselves. City Ranch Inc. recently gave a taste of country life to a group of students from Beechfield Elementary/Middle School in west Baltimore.
