Chris Cuomo questions 'pro-life' Republicans who knew Trump was lying about COVID-19

Chris Cuomo called out “pro-life” Republicans for keeping quiet as President Trump knowingly misled the American public about the coronavirus, which has now caused nearly 200,000 deaths in this country. In recently released recordings that Trump admits are genuine, he can be heard saying in early February and March how dangerous COVID-19 is, and that he preferred to downplay it in public. Cuomo pointed out that these “pro-life” Republicans had the same information as Trump, yet they never contradicted the president as he spread misinformation. Cuomo even called some of them out by name for their silence following the release of the tapes, and for some, their defense of the president’s actions.
