Barcelona Fans Chant Messi's Name After League Title Win

Barcelona fans chanted Lionel Messi’s name as they celebrated their team’s La Liga title win on the city’s famous La Rambla.

A 4-2 victory over city rivals Espanyol on May 14 meant Barcelona secured their first La Liga title in four years and 27th in total.

Messi left Barcelona after more than two decades in 2021 amid the club’s well-documented financial issues. The Argentine is set to leave Paris Saint-Germain in June at the end of his two-year contract.
