Arjeeta Singhvi: The Entrepreneur Enabling Learning Communities

Jodhpur-based entrepreneur Arjeeta Singhvi is the owner of ekSlate - an online learning platform that offers a personalised learning experience for students of 6th-12th grade.

A curious kid while growing up, Singhvi wanted to be a journalist but things didn't turn out the way she expected. She eventually took up engineering while also working for a youth organisation - AIESEC.

This NGO enabled her to connect with students from semi-urban and slum areas.

That is when the thought of making education more accessible to different stratas of society hit her, and eventually led her to launch ekSlate.

Singhvi informs that ekSlate ensures every experience aims to recognise, identify and foster the unique capabilities of each student.

Currently, ekSlate caters to 4 boards (IB, ICSE, CBSE & state board RBSE) in both English and Hindi mediums. The company also offers various life skill programs to help develop both cognitive and functional capacities of students.

ekSlate is backed by Her&Now, an initiative that empowers women entrepreneurs, implemented by GIZ, on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation in partnership with the government of India’s Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MoSDE).
