Angry Scenes on London Bridges as Climate Protesters Block Traffic

There were angry scenes on several London bridges on Tuesday, May 23, as motorists showed their displeasure towards climate protesters blocking traffic.

Footage recorded by Just Stop Oil shows Tuesday morning’s protests on Tower Bridge and Blackfriars Bridge. A third incident took place on London Bridge.

One protester on Blackfriars Bridge was shoved to the ground by a motorist, with others attempting to drive through the protest, the footage shows.

Protesters also had banners torn from their hands.

The Metropolitan Police said they attended protests on Blackfriars, Tower, and London bridges on Tuesday morning.
