3-year plan to remake Raging Waters site in Sacramento advances

A Southern California-based company is moving forward with plans to take over operations of the former Raging Waters in Sacramento and has a three-year plan with renovations that would bring a new children's area, speed slides and a surfing attraction. In an email to KCRA 3 over the weekend, Silverwood Entertainment, LLC said Cal Expo's board of directors voted unanimously to request that the management team finalize a new lease for the former water park with them.
