Seerat Sohi joins Lajethro Jenkins and Zach Schwartz to discuss the top picks from the upcoming 2020 NBA Draft and what it means for the teams.

LAJETHRO JENKINS: How do you all feel about the NBA draft coming up? Are you all excited about it? Y'all tapping in? Like, what are we thinking? Like are these-- the players coming in, are we excited about these new players?

ZACH SCHWARTZ: Sure.

LAJETHRO JENKINS: Sure.

ZACH SCHWARTZ: Sure. I mean, I think LaMelo's going to be fun. I think Anthony Edwards is very cool. I love Obi Toppin, but I think LaMelo is as close to Ja or Zion that we're going to get.

LAJETHRO JENKINS: I'll say, very few high schools have been more impressed with seeing live than Melo. Now he was playing with grown men at the Drew, and he made the game look so, so easy. And I love seeing that. At his height, in all that two-pointer position he's playing. But everybody else is just like, you really don't know what you're going to get.

SEERAT SOHI: I'm just super excited for the chaos. Like, are the Warriors going to trade number two? Are the Warriors going to have LaMelo? That would be really interesting. I hope he-- he's such an interesting player. I hope he goes somewhere that isn't Minnesota.

Like, honestly, Minnesota does have a new front office. We don't necessarily know if-- you know, it's like, it's not like it's old times again. So maybe I'm using the cliche potshot at Minnesota.

I also don't hate the idea of Lonzo and LaMelo playing on the same team. If the Warriors trade number two, that could be kind of interesting as well.

LAJETHRO JENKINS: So who do you all think's going top three? Who do y'all have?

ZACH SCHWARTZ: All right, I'm going to go Wiseman at one. I think Melo at two. I think the Warriors are too smart to let a talent like that just slip through their fingers. And then I think it's going to be Edwards at three. I think Anthony Edwards is awesome, but that's mine.

SEERAT SOHI: I think it's going to be Edwards at one. I think Melo at two, and then Wiseman at three.

LAJETHRO JENKINS: I think Wiseman, Melo, Edwards. I love Edwards. I don't know if he's worth the number one pick, though. I mean, he has some great-- I mean, what, he scored like 30 and 1/2 one game-- you know what I'm saying? So his highs are high, but you know, I don't know. I don't know-- we still don't know what we're gonna get from him in the league, so.
