90'+4'
The referee blows the whistle, and the hosts run out comfortable winners with a 2-0 scoreline. They went closest in the first half as the game went to the break goalless, with Mbeumo fizzing a shot towards the top left corner, which Fabianski tipped round the post. The Frenchman was the man to break the deadlock though, after he cleverly was put through by Toney early into the second half. Mbeumo shot first time, firing past Fabianski to make it 1-0. Toney doubled his side's advantage on 64 minutes, when Mbeumo was able to hook the ball back across goal from a Henry cross. The former Peterborough striker was there waiting, and nodded home to make it 2-0. The visitors tried to get back into the game late on but struggled to create much of note, with Benrahma sending a deflected effort just over in injury time against his former club. The Bees defended well though, and saw out the remainder of the game to secure the three points.
