The 26-year-old striker, who has scored eight goals in 15 appearances across all competitions, was substituted off during the first-half of Sunday's 2-0 loss to SV Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga clash. Stuttgart brought in Guirassy as a transfer deadline day replacement for the departed Sasa Kalajdzic, but with no other player on the roster coming close to his production, the club faces a tough challenge in their fight against relegation. Squad captain Wataru Endo and Chris FĂŒhrich have three league goals each, while injured players Tiago Tomas and "Silas" and the departed Naouirou Ahamada have two each.
