Just hours after narrowly missing out on the Premier League title, Liverpool confirmed their summer transfer plans would start with the signing of Fulham youngster Fabio Carvalho. The 19-year-old almost made the switch to Anfield in January, but remained to help the Cottagers gain promotion from the Championship back into the Premier League. Carvalho played 36 games for Marco Silva's side and impressed throughout the campaign, scoring 10 goals and providing eight assists as Fulham won the title.
