Everton and England forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin has opened up on his mental health struggles this season, urging others to talk about their own troubles. Calvert-Lewin has endured an incredibly tough campaign, with loss of form and injury woes restricting him to just 17 Premier League matches as Everton fought for survival. After the season concluded, Calvert-Lewin has used his Instagram account to sent an emotional thank you to the Everton supporters - and lifted the lid on his own tough year. "On a personal note I have had to dig deep within myself at times this season and have endured some of the most difficult times of my career and my life to date," Calvert-Lewin wrote.
City scored three goals in six minutes to beat Aston Villa 3-2 on Sunday and edge out Liverpool by a single point to retain the Premier League title.
Kevin De Bruyne believes this season's Premier League title is the best he has ever won with the club. Man City made it four titles in five years after they came back from two goals down to beat Aston Villa on the final day. De Bruyne was once again a key component for Man City this season, and that came after a tough start with injury. "For me, to be honest, with how I felt at the beginning of the year, this title is by far the best one out of the four," De Bruyne said.
