    Robot Dog Flamethrower Goes On Sale

    The world’s first robotic dog flame thrower has gone on sale and will set you back just $9,420. The fiery quadruped is the creation of American company Throwflame and comes equipped with an ARC flamethrower mounted on its back. The ‘Thermonator’, as it’s known, can shoot fire in a 30-foot stream and comes with a built-in fuel tank. According to Throw Flame, the robot, which is Unitree Go1-based, also has an hour-long battery a laser sight, and lidar mapping that can be remotely controlled via the company’s app. The robot itself weighs 26 lbs, but together with the flamethrower, that comes up to 60 lbs. Despite its fearsome looks, Throw Flame states that it can be used for wildfire control and prevention agricultural management, ecological conservation, snow and ice removal, and entertainment, and SFX.
