    Toronto FC acquires Haiti international Derrick Etienne Jr in deal with Atlanta

    Toronto FC added to its attack Wednesday by acquiring Haiti international winger Derrick Etienne Jr. from Atlanta United FC in exchange for up to US$375,000 in general allocation money. Some US$175,000 of the allocation money is conditional on certain performance-based metrics.     Toronto FC looks to make moves as transfer window closes, reveals Laryea as third DP

    Toronto FC is in discussions to bring in a player and move another out before Major League Soccer's primary transfer window closes Tuesday. General manager Jason Hernandez says the two moves are not related, however. Hernandez also revealed that the club has made fullback Richie Laryea its third designated player. While Jonathan Osorio is listed on the club website as a DP, the GM said the club captain had agreed to restructure his contract to fit under the salary cap as a non-designated player.

    Doneil Henry has plenty to cheer about Wednesday when Toronto FC hosts Simcoe County Rovers FC in Canadian Championship play.
