It is far from his first - and it certainly will not be his last - but Erling Haaland broke yet another goalscoring record on Tuesday night. The Norwegian's fine finish to ignite Manchester City's second-half comeback against RB Leipzig was his 40th Champions League goal in just 35, making him the quickest player to reach the landmark in the competition. At 23 years and 130 days, Haaland also became the youngest player to reach 40 Champions League goals, breaking Mbappe's previous record set in November 2022.
