A decade-long, $2.5 billion partnership between Major League Soccer and Apple will give birth to a new streaming broadcast platform, MLS Season Pass.
Premier League clubs spent a record ÂŁ815m in the January transfer window to complete a season of unprecedented investment. Chelsea led the way with a number of massive deals, spending a British-record ÂŁ106.5 million on Enzo Fernandez on deadline day, as well as splashing out ÂŁ88.5 million on Mykhailo Mudryk earlier in the month. Across Englandâs top flight, the gross spend was 90 per cent higher than the previous record set in 2018âs winter window and almost triple what was spent last year.
Both players' contracts are due to expire at the end of the season, which means there's a real risk that they could depart on free transfers. The Bundesliga outfit are, however, doing their utmost behind the scenes to ensure that eventuality does not come to pass.
