Scotland scrape through a tougher test than they may have expected - though Steve Clarke did warn of Moldova's capabilities before the game kicked off - as they post a second win of their attempt to qualify for Qatar 2022. Both sides lacked composure in and around the area, but the hosts at least assured all three points thanks to Dykes' first-half goal, which gave them an advantage they would never relinquish. Moldova, meanwhile, remain without a win in Group F and are rooted to the bottom of the table on one point - seven behind the Scots, who now sit third.
