90'+2'
Two goals in two second-half minutes help guide West Ham to a 3-0 win over Genk. This was a well-fought game for most of the 90 minutes, with Genk putting in a committed display. In fact, the visitors could have taken the lead early on when Bongonda's headed goal was ruled out after a narrow offside call against Ito in the build-up. But West Ham grew into the game and took the lead on the stroke of half-time, when Dawson bundled in Cresswell's corner. Genk continued to entertain in the second half, but they fell apart in a crucial five-minute spell: first, Diop headed in Cresswell's free-kick, before Bowen drove into the box and rifled past Vandevoordt from the restart. Ugbo had numerous chances to pull one back for Genk, but it wasn't to be and it finished 3-0.
