Conceived as a prequel to Star Trek: The Original Series, Discovery is set a decade before Kirk, Spock, McCoy, and crew boldly went into the final frontier. CBS hyped the new series, which stars Sonequa Martin-Green, Michelle Yeoh, and Rainn Wilson and launches in September, at San Diego Comic-Con, commandeering a local art gallery to exhibit concept art, costumes, accessories, and weapons, all of which give a fresh twist to the classic Trek looks. Click through for your own private tour.

Star Trek: Discovery premieres Sunday, Sept. 24, on CBS All Access.
